📋 Description
• The Director of Philanthropy, Western Region will maintain a robust portfolio of major donors. • Lead strategies to acquire, retain, and upgrade major donor prospects. • Frequent travel to meet donors across the western region of the US. • Build authentic relationships to deepen connections and increase giving. • Collaborate on donor strategies and create compelling fundraising materials. • Monitor and report on donor metrics in Salesforce.
🎯 Requirements
• Minimum of 7 years professional experience in non-profit fundraising and at least 3 years of major gifts experience. • Expertise in building and growing relationships for increased giving. • Demonstrated ability to ask and successfully close five, six, and seven-figure gifts. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to handle multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines. • Strong organization, decision-making, and collaboration skills. • Comfortable working in multi-cultural climates. • Entrepreneurial spirit with the enthusiasm to implement new strategies.
