Description

You are an experienced software engineer/architect who is comfortable leading large scale solutions. You have experience leading and contributing to cloud native applications that are highly reliable and resilient. You have a passion for mentoring and guiding other developers along their journey. You are not afraid to fail, but when doing so, strive to do it fast. The Principal Software Engineer role will focus on the technical processes related to software development and will assist in managing the overall vision, roadmap, and implementation of new software systems. This role will work as a team member with Business Stakeholders, Software Engineers, Quality Assurance Engineers, and Solutions Architects to deliver a complete solution for the business. This position will report to the Director of Software Engineering and Architecture within the department.

Requirements

10+ Years of experience in a Software Developer role or similar role 5+ Years of experience .Net and/or .Net Core Understanding of design principles, threading, real-time processing, and SQL Server DB queries and performance tuning Demonstrated experience in coaching, building developer teams, and ensuring standards are aligned with best practices. Excellent written and verbal communications skills Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Experience developing in a cloud environment (Azure, GCP, AWS) Microservices/restful API Database experience (SQL, NoSQL)
