• Oversee and assist with the in-house preparation of the annual and quarterly global income tax provisions. • Help continue to identify opportunities to optimize the global tax accounting, compliance, and cash-tax forecasting processes. • Coordinate and review outsourced direct and indirect returns for US domestic and foreign jurisdictions. • Assist with ongoing analyses, maintenance and documentation of global tax nexus positions and transfer pricing methodologies. • Involvement in due diligence, tax structuring and planning efforts related to both M&A and organic business expansion. • Help monitor, assess and implement the impact of global tax law and accounting literature developments. • Assist with US domestic and foreign direct and indirect tax audit defense. • Help coordinate and manage the US domestic R&D tax credit process. • Help maintain the global tax filing and process calendar. • Assist with documentation and maintenance of global tax department policies and procedures.
• 8+ years of corporate tax accounting and compliance experience. • BA/BBA/BS in Accounting, Finance or business-related field is required. • Deep understanding of income tax provisions. • Ability to perform tax technical and accounting research independently. • Experience working effectively with all levels of an organization from clerical staff to executives, managing relationships with external parties, and developing staff. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities and deadlines, and proactively drive results. • Experience serving multinational corporations (preferred). • US CPA + Big 4 public accounting experience (preferred). • Purchase accounting experience (preferred). • Experience with US sales tax and/or foreign VAT/GST (preferred). • Public-company experience (preferred). • Working knowledge of NetSuite or a comparable ERP system (preferred).
