Requirements

• You’re up for the audacious challenge of redesigning our democracy. You’ve got the grit to see it through because you’re motivated by the potential impact you can have. • You’re a proven A-player with a track record of innovative design, increasing responsibility, and success. We care more about trajectory than years of experience. • You bring a clear creative direction from the highest level but are hands-on living and breathing the details • You have strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices. • You’re an expert in Figma and have experience with recent research tools that have AI capabilities such as HeyMarvin, Maze, DoveTail, Kraftful, Dscout, etc. • You’ve built something from scratch or worked at an early stage startup. You enjoy the ambiguous, ever-changing nature of startups. • You’re able to design independently and are also willing to collaborate well with others to iteratively solve problems in real-time • You’ve performed evaluative user research such as A/B tests, focus groups, value-prop testing and more on innovative products. You are well-versed with a variety of user research testing tools. You’re incredibly skilled at prototyping. • You are known for having excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. • You have experience working with Figma and are energized by collaborating live with your remote teammates and stakeholders. • You thrive working at startup speed. Our solution is desperately needed and the issues of our time are all bottlenecked by our corrupt democracy. • You’re constantly learning patterns and trends in UI/UX and using or comfortable with the ever-changing social media landscape of Gen Z (e.g. TikTok, Snap, etc.) • You’re an honest, direct communicator who seeks out and appreciates giving and getting feedback • You communicate your ideas and reasoning clearly, both verbally and visually • You’re comfortable working alongside a development team within lean and agile processes • You are on board with our mission of supporting independent, people-powered, anti-corruption candidates from across the ideological spectrum

Benefits

• 100% coverage of health, dental, and vision benefits for you and your dependents • We encourage you to take time off to recharge and have an unlimited PTO (sick and vacation) policy. This is a marathon, not a sprint. We believe a work-life balance is needed to get there. • We’ll make sure you’ve got what you need to work remotely through our workspace setup stipend • If you work from home, we give $50/month to help with your internet and other expenses. If you prefer co-working, that’s an option we can discuss too. • Fully funded for our mission. No stressing over whether the next round of funding will come through. Focus on making an impact. That’s what matters here.
