📋 Description

• Gopuff’s engineering team is building solutions to dramatically change the way people purchase their daily goods. • We provide the modern-day solution to meet customers' immediate everyday needs with products ranging from snacks and ice cream to household goods and beer, at the click of a button. • We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who is excited about building e-commerce systems that enable us to always fulfill our customers’ needs, and design web applications that are joyful to use. • The ideal candidate will have proficiency in web development, particularly within the e-commerce domain and have robust experience in Typescript for backend development and HTML/JavaScript for front-end work. • Your primary responsibility will be to continually create and improve cloud-native platforms as you add features critical to our customer experience. • Success in this role will be measured by the team’s effective delivery of services. • We are looking for candidates who are passionate about delivering consistently great experiences within our growing engineering team. • This is a Remote position.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. • Proven experience in web development, specifically in the e-commerce sector. • Experience with Shopify is highly preferred. • Proficiency in Typescript for backend development. • Strong skills in HTML and JavaScript for front-end development. • Previous experience customizing UI for e-commerce portals. • Proven ability to interface web e-commerce with retail sales channels. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under minimal supervision. • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
