• This is a remote position. • Senior Front-End Engineer. • About Us: GrabCareers is revolutionizing the job search experience for engineers. • We connect top-tier talent with innovative companies, fostering environments where impactful contributions are valued and career growth is prioritized. • Candidates must have valid USA work authorization. • We are unable to sponsor visas at this time. • Who You Are: You are a seasoned Senior Front End Engineer with 5-8 years of experience, possessing a deep understanding of modern web application architecture and development best practices. • You are a technical leader, capable of driving complex projects, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to strategic technical decisions. • You are passionate about crafting exceptional user experiences and building scalable, performant, and maintainable front-end systems. • What You Will Do: Architect and Develop Complex Front-End Systems: Design and implement scalable, robust, and maintainable front-end architectures using React (TypeScript). • Lead Technical Initiatives: Drive the development of new features and improvements, ensuring alignment with product goals and technical best practices. • Mentor and Guide Junior Engineers: Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to foster the growth of the front-end team. • Drive Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks, ensuring optimal loading speeds and responsiveness across various devices and browsers. • Champion Code Quality and Best Practices: Establish and enforce coding standards, conduct thorough code reviews, and promote the use of automated testing frameworks. • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences. • Contribute to Architectural Decisions: Participate in technical discussions and contribute to the evolution of the front-end architecture. • Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: Research and evaluate new technologies and methodologies to ensure the team remains at the forefront of front-end development. • Improve CI/CD pipelines as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• 5-8 years of professional experience in front-end development. • Expertise in React (TypeScript) and modern JavaScript frameworks. • Proven experience in designing and implementing complex front-end architectures. • Deep understanding of web performance optimization techniques. • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and GraphQL. • Extensive experience with front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress). • Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead other engineers. • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. • Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Recoil). • Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines. • Experience in creating reusable component libraries. • Experience with Accessibility standards.
