• working with the Alloy team to deliver new functionality • contributing to and reviewing design documents for upcoming features • being an active member of the OpenTelemetry collector community • ensuring Alloy integrates well with Prometheus components • supporting customers with observability pipeline setup • collaborating with other teams to ensure Alloy's effectiveness • participating in on-call rotations

Requirements

• passion for observability and knowledge sharing through documentation and blog posts • love to engage with customers and provide assistance • excellent communication skills • relevant open source experience, ideally in OpenTelemetry or Prometheus • willingness to actively participate in the OpenTelemetry community • good understanding of production environments, preferably with experience in operating production infrastructure and organizing on-call
