β’ Gray Manufacturing Company, Inc. in St. Joseph, Missouri is searching for Regional Sales Managers to join our team! β’ This position will serve Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Ohio. β’ Effectively manage revenue channels in a geographical territory to maximize revenue and profit margins β’ develop market direct sales strategies via face-to-face interactions to provide the best possible customer experience β’ establish a profitable distribution network where applicable and manage National Accounts within respective territory. β’ Manage and grow existing direct sales customer base and prospects through coordination of marketing tactics β’ Perform on-site product demonstrations, training and meetings with customers and prospects. β’ Effectively manage existing distributors and develop new distribution partners through sales training and assisting distributors as needed. β’ Maintain Gray product knowledge while continuing education of our key market to develop customer problems and provide solutions. β’ Provide parts and service knowledge of all Gray equipment to customers. β’ Utilize CRM program to keep clear, concise, accurate account records. β’ Participate in and lead trade show events. β’ Create and maintain sales pipeline to meet or exceed all sales key measure metrics. β’ May travel with various products to pick up, deliver, and perform product repairs as needed. β’ Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations and performing the job in a safe manner utilizing personal protective equipment and safety devices.
β’ Five years of outside sales experience β’ BSBA degree preferred β’ Ability to read, write and converse in the English language in all forms of communication; Bilingual preferred β’ Ability to operate a computer sufficient enough to develop customer quotes, maintain CRM and interface with ERP system β’ Capable of acquiring superior knowledge of the Gray product line and product history β’ Proven negotiation skills β’ Strong oral and written communication skills β’ Strong math aptitude β’ Superior work ethic and personal integrity β’ Reliable and trustworthy working with limited supervision β’ Ability to understand pricing models β’ Capable of acquiring superior knowledge of industry and competitors β’ Ability to follow a sales process as designated or instructed β’ Product demonstration skills β’ Transportation/logistics knowledge
