📋 Description

• Supervise and manage a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, support, and feedback • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements • Review and analyze financial data, identifying trends, variances, and areas for improvement • Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to maintain the integrity of financial records and ensure compliance with accounting regulations • Coordinate and assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans • Resolve general ledger issues, ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately and by accounting principles • Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing any audit findings • Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports for management and stakeholders • Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance with new accounting standards • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities for the accounting team • Create training manuals/SOP for new and existing accounting processes

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred • Proven experience as an Accounting Supervisor or similar role in construction or call center set-up • Proficiency in financial tools/software - QuickBooks, Google spreadsheet, Buildium, Asana, Loom, Slack • Quickbooks Pro-Advisor certification is an advantage • Strong analytical ability to interpret financial data • Solid understanding of internal controls and financial management processes in observance of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) • Great communication and effective leadership skills • Highly organized with ability to handle multiple projects within established deadlines • Demonstrates honesty and integrity when dealing with confidential information related to the association's finances
