Description

• Plan, execute, and report on software testing for both development and maintenance phases, ensuring high-quality deliverables. • Develop comprehensive test plans and test procedures based on system specifications, user requirements, and technical documentation. • Accurately document and report defects, ensuring proper prioritization and escalation when necessary. • Review and provide feedback on test documentation to align with project goals. • Proactively identify potential risks, issues, and blockers, providing solutions and escalating concerns to team leads as appropriate. • Independently manage assigned work with minimal oversight from team leads. • Monitor software quality metrics and continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to ensure future delivery excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in information technology or related discipline from an accredited college or university • Ability to work on Eastern time • Must be able to obtain and maintain required federal government security clearance • At least 3 years of software testing experience • Experience creating test scripts based off of user stories and development tasks • Experience interpreting requirements, writing quality control documentation (e.g. Test Plans and Reports), and writing user acceptance test plans (including Acceptance Criteria) • Knowledge of Test Management, Automation toolsets and processes • Proficiency with test automation and test management tools • Experience with accessibility testing including Section 508 accessibility standards • Great organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently, communicate and work productively as part of fully remote and/or hybrid teams
