Description

• Designs, installs, configures, and maintains GTT networks. • Provides documentation/project tracking and management reporting. • Reviews, plans, and evaluates network systems. • Maintain network capacity and resources, including CFA and network ports. • Work with various teams to deliver network growth and optimization. • Other assigned duties as necessary.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in building, installing, and maintaining service provider networks. • Experience supporting, upgrading, and managing carrier class network hardware, preferably Juniper. • Experience with POP builds within carrier neutral datacenters. • Proven cable management skills and experience with cross-connect inventory databases. • Working knowledge of general network topologies and standards. • Knowledge of interconnect technologies like Fiber, Cat5, Gigabit Ethernet, DWDM. • Ability to take ownership of large projects against tight deadlines. • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Self-motivated and demonstrates initiative. • Desirable certifications: Juniper/Cisco.
