📋 Description
• Guidehealth is a data-powered healthcare company focused on operational excellence. • Collaborating on monthly closing process according to adherence to GAAP. • Preparing and posting required journal entries. • Completing month-end and year-end closing processes including tracking accruals and analyzing account activity. • Maintaining accurate financial records in QuickBooks. • Ensuring all activity adheres to internal controls. • Reconciling accounts and allocating expenses. • Developing and implementing best practices for financial operations and reporting. • Supporting stakeholders to ensure accuracy of accounting processes.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. • 5+ years of experience in an accounting or finance role, with a focus on financial reporting, monthly close, and journal entries within a medium to large company. • Proficiency in QuickBooks or other ERP systems (ie: Netsuite, Oracle, Sage). • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced us of Excel. • Experience in a combination of public and private companies, including experience in a start-up or high-growth company. • Extreme attention to detail • Prior public accounting experience in audit and controls is a plus. • CPA certification or progress towards certification strongly desired.
