📋 Description

• Manage the accounting close for U.S. operations and the consolidated entity, coordinating with overseas counterparts. • Supervise a team of two direct reports handling Gurobi’s global procurement process and U.S. payroll, collaborating across departments such as People (HR), Sales, Support (Experts), Research and Development, and Marketing. • Prepare and review general ledger transactions to ensure accurate recording in accordance with U.S. GAAP. • Work with the Global Controller and VP of Finance to manage Gurobi’s treasury process, including cash disbursements, bank reconciliations, and lender reporting. • Assist in managing and optimizing Gurobi’s financial systems and ERP software for data accuracy and efficiency. • Support the annual audit and assist internal and external tax specialists with compliance activities. • Contribute to the global budget and forecasting process. • Assess the impact of proposed significant transactions, such as integrating new business acquisitions or expansions. • Generate ad hoc reports as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in senior accountant or manager roles in private industry, with direct supervision experience, preferably in technology. • Public accounting experience is preferred but not required. • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred but not required. • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance. • Proficiency in using NetSuite or comparable ERP systems and familiarity with Salesforce, similar CRM systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
