📋 Description

• The Assistant Controller will provide direction and coordination of all major aspects of the Company’s financial systems and processes to support the achievement of the Company’s financial targets, strategic growth initiatives and a clean audit. • Close the books (monthly) with account reconciliations; prove Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flows and other financial reports to internal management team, Board of Directors, auditors, and banks/third party lenders; and report financial status and trends of the business. • Oversee general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness. • Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud. • Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices in accounting and finance operations. • Providing analysis of historical, current, and projected financial and operating results to develop recommendations for strategic and tactical improvements. • Identifying and implementing the use of strategic and performance metrics to enhance business operations. • Ensuring effective internal controls are in place and compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting. • Assisting in and Coordination, communication, and overall responsibility for the annual Audit process. • Assisting due diligence for acquisitions and integration of financial and administrative functions for acquired companies. • Working with senior executives and shareholders to identify and execute on strategic initiatives. • Working closely with operations to determine the best KPIs for ongoing reporting and accuracy, timely.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of finance and accounting experience with continually increasing responsibility • 3+ years of financial leadership role • Superior analytical skills with strong Excel and ERP experience • Strong background of financial reporting and understanding of GAAP • Direct Experience with ERP/Accounting systems and processes, preferably Netsuite/Salesforce or similar system • BA/BS Accounting or Finance • % Completion for Revenue Recognition/ASC 606 Compliance • CPA • Private Equity Experience and Managing Lender Debt Covenants with Reporting • Experience with mergers & acquisitions, including integration of acquired businesses and Intercompany Transactions
