📋 Description

• Gusto moves hundreds of billions of dollars per year. • Responsible for building new payments and money movement capabilities across US and International. • Guide projects end-to-end by influencing initial feature specs. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams focusing on payments experiences. • Develop payments systems foundational to Gusto’s solutions. • Function as a Technical Lead across multiple teams in Payments. • Improve productivity and happiness with tools and APIs developed. • Engage in a highly supportive environment with others to drive innovation.

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years of expertise in Payments platforms at scaled FinTech companies. • Proven ability to collaborate across multiple teams (3+) to shape product vision. • Extensive experience in developing and maintaining platform products. • Demonstrated expertise in engineering, designing, and deploying large-scale systems. • Strong knowledge of data structures, data modeling, and system design. • Excellent communication and decision-making skills with stakeholders. • Experience operationalizing and scaling interconnected production systems. • Passionate mentor dedicated to nurturing fellow engineers. • Leadership in driving product development lifecycle. • Commitment to enhancing team productivity and morale.

🏖️ Benefits

• Cash compensation target of $222,000/yr to $247,000/yr in Denver and most remote locations. • Stock equity is additional. • Final offer amounts determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise.
