Description

• Senior Backend Engineer for Wellhub’s Search & Discovery Team. • Provide exploration and discovery services for end-users. • Develop search capabilities and personalized recommendations. • Build scalable architectures and write clean code. • Design, develop, and support search and recommendation services. • Lead engineering projects and work with cross-functional teams. • Analyze data to infer user preferences. • Create a supportive environment focusing on wellbeing.

Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in designing and developing complex modern web applications. • Proficient in object-oriented and functional design patterns, RESTful web services. • Strong command of data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, complexity analysis. • Skilled in at least two programming languages (C, C++, Java, Scala, Ruby, Python, Go). • Proven experience in leading complex software systems delivery. • Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms and containerized application deployments. • Competent in SQL and NoSQL technologies (PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch). • Excellent communication skills in English and Portuguese. • Eager to learn new programming languages and cloud platforms swiftly. • Experienced in information retrieval, recommendation systems, natural language processing. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
