Description

• Harbor Health is looking for a data scientist to join our team. • Help build a fully integrated system for healthcare. • Support clinical, actuarial, product development, and operations teams. • Collaborate with data science team to create and improve foundational models. • Design and develop analysis techniques to uncover patterns in health data. • Integrate data from multiple sources ensuring data accuracy. • Assist with complex analysis requests from senior leadership.

Requirements

• Master's degree in applied mathematics, statistics, data science, computer science, or related field with 2+ years of experience OR bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience. • Proven track record of designing and building statistical and machine learning models. • Proficiency in SQL and Python – including Pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other data science libraries. • Experience working in a cloud computing environment such as AWS, GCP, or similar. • Experience working with healthcare claims and electronic health record data. • Ability to engage business leaders to understand problems and collaborate on solutions. • Excellent oral and written communication skills including data visualization. • Attention to detail and ability to manage schedules and deadlines independently.
