πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of electricity and materials. β€’ Confirm systems and components capabilities necessary for safe hazmat handling and controls. β€’ Achieve detailed understanding of the Contract documents (drawings and specifications), phasing plans, engineering systems relationships, construction sequencing and project schedule. β€’ Facilitate problem solving, as may arise, between contractors and subcontractors during construction. β€’ Validate design issues related to the hazmat structure engineering and suggest alternative solutions. β€’ Assist in the receipt and review of engineering submittals. β€’ Log and post all engineering changes and as-built information on field drawings. β€’ Assist in the scope review, budgeting and justification of engineering proposal pricing and change work orders. β€’ Coordination and administration of engineering related materials, systems and shop drawing submittals.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ Mechanical or Electrical university degree in Engineering. β€’ Chemical minor and/or influence in degree a plus. β€’ Working knowledge of plans, prints, specifications and schematics associated with trade. β€’ 5 years of construction experience with working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing construction procedures and practices. β€’ Computer literate - master of Cad software a plus. β€’ Possess excellent communication and organizational skills. β€’ Understanding of International Building Codes (IBC), NFPA 30, USEPA, and OSHA a plus.
