📋 Description

• Evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of electricity and materials. • Confirm systems and components capabilities necessary for safe hazmat handling and controls. • Achieve detailed understanding of the Contract documents (drawings and specifications), phasing plans, engineering systems relationships, construction sequencing and project schedule. • Facilitate problem solving, as may arise, between contractors and subcontractors during construction. • Validate design issues related to the hazmat structure engineering and suggest alternative solutions. • Assist in the receipt and review of engineering submittals. • Log and post all engineering changes and as-built information on field drawings. • Assist in the scope review, budgeting and justification of engineering proposal pricing and change work orders. • Coordination and administration of engineering related materials, systems and shop drawing submittals.

🎯 Requirements

• Mechanical or Electrical university degree in Engineering. • Chemical minor and/or influence in degree a plus. • Working knowledge of plans, prints, specifications and schematics associated with trade. • 5 years of construction experience with working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing construction procedures and practices. • Computer literate - master of Cad software a plus. • Possess excellent communication and organizational skills. • Understanding of International Building Codes (IBC), NFPA 30, USEPA, and OSHA a plus.
