Description

• Headway is growing fast, and we’re looking for an Accountant to help establish financial operations that will scale with the growth of the company. • You’ll report to our Controller who is looking for a trusted accountant to help with both financial reporting and operations. • Oversee accounts payable and vendor onboarding to ensure corporate cards and vendor bills are entered accurately and paid in a timely manner. • Ensure compliance with company expense policies and procurement processes. • Assist with month-end close, including preparing journal entries, bank reconciliations, accruals, fixed assets and balance sheet reconciliations. • Manage automation and integration of the expense system with Netsuite. • Assist with process improvements to streamline operations and help prepare the company for audit readiness. • Assist with ad-hoc US GAAP research and accounting treatment analyses.

Requirements

• Have 2+ years of accounting and/or audit experience, CPA a plus • Have the ability to build best-in-class processes and use technology to improve scalability • Have experience in a high growth work environment with changing priorities • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills • Have worked with Netsuite and/or Ramp
