• The National Bleeding Disorders Foundation (NBDF) is dedicated to finding cures for inheritable blood and bleeding disorders and to addressing and preventing the complications of these disorders through research, education, and advocacy, enabling people and families to thrive • The Bilingual Education Specialist I plays a vital role in empowering individuals, families, and support networks affected by inheritable blood and bleeding disorders through the development and delivery of dynamic bilingual educational content • This position offers the opportunity to shape impactful educational experiences, enhance health access, and make a meaningful difference within the bleeding disorders community • Execute live education events, including planning logistics, recruiting speakers, and coordinating participants as needed • Create diverse educational content in various formats (workshops, presentations, print materials, videos, etc.) for online platforms and live delivery • Support the assessment of educational programs and initiatives, and compile outcome reports
• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience • 2+ years of experience in public health or community service environment • Experience in public speaking and presentation skills required, with the ability to create and present educational content in Spanish • Familiarity with project management, program development, and execution • Self-motivated, critical thinker with excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills to work on multiple tasks simultaneously • Ability to work with and influence diverse groups of people, with a strong desire to connect with the community and positively impact health outcomes • Strong communication, organizational, customer service, and analytical skills • Proficiency in Zoom, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint) • Willingness and ability to learn new software tools • Proficient in Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing) is required
