Description

• Conduct thorough searches of online sources to identify exposed PII. • Take action to remove as much PII as possible using opt out procedures. • Provide ongoing monitoring services by continuously tracking clients' PII online. • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of best practices for safeguarding clients’ security and privacy. • Inform clients on how to maintain their privacy online. • Work with the team to develop and improve processes for PII assessment, removal, and monitoring. • Prepare detailed, accurate, and grammatically correct reports for clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., criminology, intelligence studies, digital forensics, or a similar discipline). • 1+ years of experience in investigations, open-source intelligence (OSINT), or digital privacy work, with a focus on protecting personally identifiable information (PII). • Familiarity in online research techniques, including the ability to locate and assess PII from various sources, such as public records, social media, and online databases. • Experience with PII removal processes and familiarity with opt-out procedures across multiple platforms and databases. • Understanding of privacy laws, regulations, and best practices related to PII and data protection. • Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise, and detailed reports. • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills. • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software tools. • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. • Knowledge of common online threats, tactics, and techniques used by threat actors.
