Description

• The FP&A Manager will lead several of our key financial planning and analysis processes. • Oversees our financial analysis operations and be the primary business partner to our corporate portfolio. • Mentors the team of financial analysts to deliver value added insights. • Weaves together a clear picture of financial indicators and enhances financial literacy across the company. • Collaborates with VP FP&A to build/update 3 yrs. financial model and other ad hoc financial models. • Partners with key functional leaders across the company to lead improved expense forecasting processes. • Converts data and metrics into actionable insights for our leadership team. • Monitors and analyzes operating results against budget and forecast through detailed financial projections. • Provides leadership to Finance department in developing improvements in financial and portfolio forecasting and reporting.

Requirements

• No less than 2 years of experience working in a subscription model business, i.e. software as a service (SaaS) • Experience communicating and partnering with executives. • Proven track record delivering results - both on the financial results and process improvement front. • Advanced excel capabilities including, but not limited to, the use of logical functions, reference functions, financial functions, building financial models, and connecting & organizing multiple data sets. • Experience exercising time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting aggressive deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates. • Capable of building PowerPoint presentations, including developing charts and management commentary. • Typically, has at least five years of experience at Higher Logic. • At least 10 years of progressive experience working in financial or analytically driven roles. • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field. • Experience using business intelligence tools such as Power BI and Tableau for data cleansing and visualization. • Has led a large-scale process improvement or systems implementation effort. • Familiar with Salesforce.
