📋 Description

• HII is seeking a talented Senior Network Engineer (remote) to join our high performing team in supporting the Air Force's ABMS DI program. • We are interested in a SME who can step up and own support issues from start to finish. • Looking for someone who provides deep understanding of network routers/switching platforms, understands SDWAN architecture and protocols, familiar with handling of customer managed service provisioning and is comfortable interfacing with vendors to resolve support issues. • Designs and plans network systems. • Provides specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture. • Provides specific, detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. • Conducts testing of network systems. • Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, switchers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc. • Evaluates and reports on new network technologies to enhance capabilities of the network.

🎯 Requirements

• 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience. • Must have active Secret clearance • Experience with basic routers / firewalls and NAT (Network Address Translation) • Must have excellent communication and analytical skills to effectively understand and resolve customer issues. • Candidates must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • SOC2 knowledge • Experience Designing Network Security+ certification • Networking certification (i.e., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, etc.)
