📋 Description
• This role is for an Independent Contractor who will provide temporary services to Hims & Hers and will be paid on invoice (1099). • Hims & Hers is looking for an experienced Business Affairs Consultant to support the Creative Production team. • As an Independent Contractor, you will be responsible for supporting producers in the creation of content across the Hims & Hers business. • Contracts are on a quarterly basis and extensions are based on project workload.
🎯 Requirements
• 7+ years of Business Affairs and/or Production experience, preferably in an agency or brand setting • Thorough understanding of broadcast production • Strong knowledge of copyright, trademark, and advertising law • Expertise contracting talent and knowledge of SAG, AFTRA and AFM union contracts • Experience managing multiple projects/productions at one time • Familiar navigating common legal and clearance issues • Working knowledge of contract management platforms like Ironclad • Excellent communications skills, written and verbal • Ability to negotiate with vendors and agents • Problem-solving attitude • Ability to remain calm during stressful situations while managing urgent deadlines
