📋 Description
• Role: Accounts Payable Specialist • Hours: 8am - 4pm Mountain Standard Time • Hourly Wage: $5 - $10+ (Open to negotiation based on experience) • Lago is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support one of our clients. • In this role, you’ll be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of invoices, expense reports, and payments while maintaining strong vendor relationships. • You’ll play a critical part in the day-to-day financial operations of the client’s business, ensuring vendors are paid accurately and on time. • Responsibilities • Receive and review invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies. • Process and enter invoices into the accounting system. • Prepare and execute payments to vendors via check, ACH, or credit card. • Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions. • Assist in resolving vendor inquiries and discrepancies in a timely manner. • Collaborate with other departments to ensure all necessary documentation is acquired for payment processing. • Perform monthly reconciliations and assist with year-end close procedures.
🎯 Requirements
• Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle discrepancies. • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with vendors.
