• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field • Industry experience in public opinion research, market research, social advocacy, nonprofit, and/or electoral campaigns • 3-5 years of relevant communications and marketing experience including: • Creating partnerships with journalists, media outlets, political and advocacy organizations, influencers and others to increase HIT brand awareness • Navigating newsrooms, cycles, and the press including writing and reviewing press releases and managing existing partnerships • Driving online cause or product marketing campaigns • Creating, maintaining and leveraging owned media • Experiencing measuring and reporting impact of communications and marketing strategies • Strong writing samples of brand, cause and/or service marketing materials • Proficiency in HubSpot, LinkedIn, Google Analytics, or other marketing tools • Experience creating instructional animated videos and graphics
