Description

• Main relationship owner with strategic partner in Japan • Work across business, customer success, operations, and data • Responsible for full service travel offering for B2B partner • Owns partnership success and makes decisions for the team • Uses data/analysis to inform decision making and strategy • Influences partner for product and business decisions • Runs analyses, solves operational gaps, creates material for partner • Builds and maintains financial and product reporting • Dives deep into performance and operational data • Crafts persuasive business cases • Ensures service quality, identifies operational and product improvements • Identifies commercial opportunities, leads negotiations, compares price competitiveness • Arranges and produces content for monthly business reviews with the client

Requirements

• Ability to work in start-up and traditional Japanese business environment • Untangles complex problems, dives deep into data • Makes decisions with quantitative and qualitative data • Detail-oriented problem-solving approach • Clear communication verbally and in writing • Takes ownership, moves quickly with good judgment • Technical depth to communicate with engineers and data scientists • Focus on customer and company benefits without ego • Proactive, persuasive, and adaptable • Experience with consumer marketplaces (a plus)
