• Plans, designs, and develops learning and performance-focused solutions • Applies design expertise to create measurable improvements • Works on various projects and initiatives to support business strategies • Acts as a trusted advisor to business groups and influences business objectives • Assists in strategic plan development and identifies emerging trends • Monitors performance and addresses issues • Builds change management plans and leads activities • Develops effective project plans for learning programs • Reviews programs for effectiveness and recommends enhancements • Provides guidance on design challenges and performance gaps

Requirements

• Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience • Post-secondary degree in related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience • Adult Learning accreditation • Knowledge of accessibility principles and design implications • Knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional methodologies, technology-enabled design and learning methods • Experience in the design and development of training for multiple delivery methods • Strong knowledge of web development processes and familiarity with authoring tools • Design thinking knowledge • Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience • Verbal and written communication skills • Collaboration and team skills • Analytical and problem-solving skills • Influence skills • Data-driven decision-making skills
