📋 Description

• Oversees the entire claims management process, ensuring efficient and effective handling of client claims. • Leads a team of experienced Claims staff, driving operational excellence and delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients. • Works with Claims Manager to ensure Claims staff are developing and growing within their roles and meeting career path goals. • Develops and implements workflow processes for claims intake, advocacy, follow-up, stewardship and escalation for key accounts, including critical path accounts with revenue over $50k/year. • Mentors team by sharing wins as learning opportunities and applies learnings to future situations that may arise.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of Commercial insurance claims experience required • Prior experience leading high performing claims teams • Strong computer skills including, MS Word and Excel, Epic or other agency management system • Ability to read and interpret detailed documents and insurance contracts • Strong analytical skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulately relay necessary information to co-workers and clients • Ability to exercise judgment to problem solve at a high level when the answer is not readily apparent • Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging circumstances • Ability to set priorities, which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities • Team player, positive attitude, self-motivation, and the ability to work in a changing environment
