Description
• The Accounting Lead prepares, records, analyzes and reports accounting transactions • Ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles • Provides financial support, including forecasting, budgeting and analyzing variations from budget • Analyzes and prepares statutory accounts, financial statements and reports • Advises executives to develop functional strategies on matters of significance • Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties • Works under minimal supervision, uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors • Review and prepare financial data, transactions and reports • Partner with other areas across the organization to ensure accurate reporting of our financials • Review monthly close and approved journal entries • Develop methods and criteria for measuring and summarizing financial data • Analyze payer agnostic medical data for trends and financial impact • Present markets with monthly financial performance and trend insights
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field • 8 or more years of technical experience • 2 or more years of project leadership experience • Progressive leadership and management experience • Prior experience within the financial industry
