• (Junior) Solution Engineer • United States • Permanent • Remote - Work from home, with travel to clients/customers as required • ICEYE is the global leader in synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite operations for Earth Observation, persistent monitoring, and natural catastrophe solutions. • Our satellites acquire images of Earth at any time – even when it’s cloudy or dark – providing commercial and government partners with unmatched persistent monitoring capabilities. • Our team is a tight-knit group of experts across many disciplines (e.g., engineering, software development, radar technology, etc.). • Working with ICEYE, you will be part of making the impossible possible, whilst shaping the Earth Observation industry. • We actively support Continuous Professional Development.

Requirements

• At least 12 months experience in a similar role • Interest working directly with clients in a technical pre-sales, data implementation or GIS consultant role • Excellent communication and project management skills • Creative problem solver with a passion for telling stories with data and analytics • Practical experience performing geospatial analyses for data driven decision making • Skilled in multiple geospatial analysis techniques, enterprise or web GIS, and comfortable with multiple analysis platforms and languages • Familiarity with remote sensing, especially SAR • Experience in natural catastrophe analytics • Experience with Python or other programming language
