Description

• Work as part of a team supporting clients in navigating challenges related to electric grid modernization, integration and orchestration of distributed energy resources (DER), advanced grid technologies, resilience, and decarbonization. • Help provide strategic and technical support for utility clients tasked with planning and operating the electric grid of the future amidst changing policy environments and evolving market conditions pertaining to DER, such as solar, energy storage, electric vehicles, energy efficiency, demand response. • Prepare and develop analysis, research, reports, presentations, and other deliverables. • Coordinate within and across ICF teams in complex engagements. • Engage with clients in project meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. • 3+ years of experience in energy consulting, electric distribution utilities, or similar. • 1+ years of experience relating to the electrical system design and planning/operation of distribution grid infrastructure. • Demonstrated ability to work flexibly as part of a project team or independently as needed. • Demonstrated organizational, technical, written, and verbal communication skills. • Motivation to learn and take on new challenges. • Ability to take initiative and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
