Description

• Provide day-to-day leadership and management for the Financial Specialist Team. • Directly coordinate and provide financial management TTA (both remote/onsite) to grantees with complex needs to ensure they have the knowledge and resources needed to meet federal grants financial management requirements. • Deliver both onsite/in-person and remote financial management training and technical assistance to grantees. • Evaluate employees and support them in enhancing service delivery to grantees. • Conduct assessments of the financial management capacity of grantees.

Requirements

• US citizenship required by federal government contract. • This position requires a Public Trust security clearance. • 6+ years of professional work experience in financial management, accounting, Federal grants management, business administration or organizational development-related disciplines. • 6+ years of experience planning, organizing, and managing the provision of direct technical assistance services to the field; evaluating curriculum or training; conducting needs assessments; or developing publications. • Knowledge of national justice trends and initiatives, the organizations and individuals actively leading the field; and effective program and project implementation. • Experience with technologies that facilitate virtual meetings and communication. • Knowledge of the Department of Justice Financial Guide and OMB Uniform Requirements. • Demonstrated experience and ability in culturally appropriate grants financial management TTA, program design and planning, evaluation, change management, collaboration, research to practice, and leadership/staff development. • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, provide a high attention to detail, and respond to challenges with a high degree of adaptability with comfort in establishing new directions and managing and adapting to change. • Advanced communication, writing, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work successfully in teams and with people of diverse cultural backgrounds.
