Description

• Engage with stakeholders to accurately report progress, risks, successes, and failures • Maintain a close working relationship with the product owner, scrum team, and other stakeholders such as product end users • Lead working session meetings to discuss scope, schedule and requirements with product owners • Help Product Owner with prioritization, risk management, and scope • Manage product quality, releases, and delivery • Conduct user research, draft user stories and meet with users to validate and enhance them • Breakdown the roadmap into epics and group user stories under them • Work with customers and developers to write user stories which are independent, negotiable, valuable, estimable, small and testable • Manage lightweight, living planning documents, like an Agile Product Roadmap • Conduct all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, daily Scrum Meetings, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives • Responsible for ensuring user stories include validation criteria which reasonably covers all areas necessary for complete testing of the new functionality • Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Product Manager for a software development team • Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance • Candidate must reside in the US, be authorized to work in the US, and work must be performed in the US • Must have lived in the US 3 full years out of the last 5 years • Master’s degree preferred • Hands-on experience leading multiple Scrum teams in a variety of contexts (different team sizes, different organizations, different cultures, co-located vs. distributed, etc) • Track record of continued and recent education in Scrum, including training, conferences, user groups, self-study, etc. • First level Scrum Master certification (PSM I, CSM) preferred • Knowledge of other Agile methodologies like Kanban • Experience with Agile techniques: User Stories, TDD, BDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Continuous Delivery, Automated Testing • Expertise with JIRA, Confluence, and the Atlassian suite • Experience using JIRA's Agile performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement • Knowledge of Human Centered Design approach for developing digital services • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Highly skilled in team facilitation, conflict resolution, implementing best practices, team empowerment and creating a culture of transparency • Experience working in the healthcare industry • Hands on Business Analyst Experience • Federal Government contracting work experience • Prior experience working remotely full-time
