Description

• Lead Compliance activities for Benefits plans including 5500s, mental health parity, transparency laws requirements, ACA reporting (federal and state), various required filings and reports • Manage all Canada Benefits Programs, including vendors and consultants • Manage specific programs and vendor relationships in the US • Work with the HR Technology team, Total Rewards team, and the Operations Team to support all benefits programs in North America • Be an integral team member for US Benefits Annual Open Enrollment • Partner with Communications to improve ongoing education and awareness

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience • 10+ Years of experience with Benefits Programs • HR Systems knowledge in Benefits (Workday benefits build and testing required) • Expert US Benefits Program knowledge for core programs (medical, dental, vision, retirement, etc.) and lifestyle benefits (knowledge of Canada benefits a plus) • Strong background in benefits compliance • Excellent customer service and communication skills • Ability to work collaboratively and individually • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Demonstrate out-of-the-box thinking and identify process improvement opportunities • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail as well as the ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects at once
