Description

• Contribute to the development of the annual IT audit plan, prioritizing based on risk and business objectives. • Oversee and manage the following elements of the SOX compliance lifecycle: Risk assessment & scoping, Planning of SOX timelines, Evaluating deficiencies identified through testing, Deficiency remediation and progress resolution tracking. • Assist with the evaluation of the design of IT controls for new applications, ensuring compliance with SOX requirements. • Work closely with Internal Audit and External Audit to ensure alignment and consistency in SOX testing. • Present findings to senior management and stakeholders, providing guidance on risk mitigation strategies. • Act as a trusted advisor to the business on IT control issues and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • 4-5 years of experience in IT risk and compliance, with a focus on SOX ITGCs and IT Controls. • Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CRISC are strongly preferred. • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex IT issues to non-technical stakeholders. • Experience working in or with publicly traded companies, Big Four audit firms, or similar environments is a plus. • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
