π Call Center Representative
β’ The Call Center Patient Representative answers phones promptly and professionally, and is responsible for scheduling patient appointments, entering and updating patient demographic information, and verifying insurance information. β’ Responsible for acquiring critical demographic, financial, medical and insurance information from patients in a professional, courteous, caring and compassionate atmosphere. β’ Answers telephones in a professional manner. β’ Schedules appointments. β’ Takes messages for patients using electronic medical records. β’ Verifies and updates patient demographic information. β’ Registers new patients. β’ Addresses patient requests and inquiries. β’ Resolves patient concerns. β’ Returns calls as necessary. β’ Updates registration and insurance information for existing patients. β’ Performs other position related duties as assigned.
β’ High School Diploma or equivalent required. β’ Previous experience in a busy medical office preferred.
