Description

β€’ The Call Center Patient Representative answers phones promptly and professionally, and is responsible for scheduling patient appointments, entering and updating patient demographic information, and verifying insurance information. β€’ Responsible for acquiring critical demographic, financial, medical and insurance information from patients in a professional, courteous, caring and compassionate atmosphere. β€’ Answers telephones in a professional manner. β€’ Schedules appointments. β€’ Takes messages for patients using electronic medical records. β€’ Verifies and updates patient demographic information. β€’ Registers new patients. β€’ Addresses patient requests and inquiries. β€’ Resolves patient concerns. β€’ Returns calls as necessary. β€’ Updates registration and insurance information for existing patients. β€’ Performs other position related duties as assigned.

Requirements

β€’ High School Diploma or equivalent required. β€’ Previous experience in a busy medical office preferred.
