• Manage a book of business for small to mid-size clients • Overall responsibility for client retention • Communicate directly with clients on insurance coverages and products • Review request for proposals and negotiate with carriers • Maintain compliance with plan rules and regulatory issues • Prepare presentations and lead client meetings • Conduct quality assurance reviews on employee work products
• Bachelor’s degree or higher • Health/Life/Accident state licensure required • Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in the health and welfare benefits brokerage industry • Experience with health and welfare benefits plans including medical, dental, life, disability • Experience with self-funded plans and claims reporting and analysis • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
