Description

• Lead the comprehensive financial settlement process for concerts, festivals, and events, collaborating directly with production and operations teams to ensure real-time accuracy and alignment of financial data. • Oversee the finalization of event settlements, reconciling all revenue streams (ticketing, merchandise, sponsorship, etc.) and cost categories (production, staffing, travel, etc.) to ensure accurate reporting. • Develop and maintain detailed settlement templates and guidelines, working closely with the production team to streamline settlement procedures and ensure adherence to financial policies. • Provide on-site financial coordination support for large-scale or multi-day events, ensuring that settlements are processed in real-time and resolving any discrepancies on the ground. • Prepare and present post-event financial analyses, offering insights into event profitability and identifying opportunities for improving financial efficiency in future events.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in financial management, event accounting, or a similar role, preferably within the live entertainment industry. • Proven experience in concert and event settlement processes. • Thorough understanding of financial and accounting standards, including GAAP. • Strong technical skills in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and financial software platforms. • Experience with event management software is a plus. • Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and critical thinking skills, with a strong ability to interpret data and make sound business decisions. • High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. • Flexibility to work during evening or weekend hours as needed during event periods. • Ability to travel domestically or internationally, as required by the role.
