📋 Description
• Assist students in excelling in the medical school application process • Work with prospective medical school candidates to build their profile and draft application documents • Manage relationships with applicants and families, providing guidance on school selection, essays, resumes, and interviews • Identify optimal medical programs and provide feedback to students • Support students with project planning and help them create timelines through Excel-based trackers • Stay up-to-date on the medical school admissions process to advise clients
🎯 Requirements
• Previous experience as an Admissions Committee Officer or Admissions Board Member with experience reviewing applications and making acceptance/rejection decisions within a Medical School or program • Currently in your Residency Program, have completed your MD • Graduate from a top US Medical School • A passion for coaching • Planning and organizational skills • Strong English reading, writing, and editing skills • Strong verbal communication skills • Expertise in project management • Experience in education, coaching, tutoring, and admission consulting would be a bonus
