One room at a time. • About the Role • We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hardware Engineer to own and lead the design and execution of hardware devices and platforms. • As a senior member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our hardware solutions. • You will drive innovation, ensure the integration of cutting-edge technologies, and deliver devices that meet the highest standards of quality and performance, across the lifecycle of all of Inspiren’s devices and platforms.
• Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering field. • Experience: 8+ years of hands-on hardware engineering experience having launched multiple hardware projects with outsourced design and manufacturing partners, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. • Technical Expertise: • Proficient in circuit design, PCB layout, and hardware debugging. • Experience with IoT devices, embedded systems, and edge computing. • Knowledge of wireless communication protocols (e.g., Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LoRaWAN, LTE, NB-IoT). • Experience in designing low-power hardware solutions optimized for extended battery life. • Familiarity with hardware security principles and practices. • Well versed in the classic phase-gate hardware product development process • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly. • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapting to changing priorities. • Start-up experience is a plus. • Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards (e.g., FCC, CE, UL). • Willingness and ability to travel to Asia to collaborate with our partners. Travel will be roughly once a quarter for a week long trip.
• The annual salary range for this role is $180,000-$200,000 + equity + benefits (including medical, dental, and vision) • Flexible PTO • Location: Remote, US
