Description

• Own the strategic Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet for the various subsidiaries across the US, UK, Canada, France and Australia, including conversion of multiple currencies into USD and consolidating accounts for the month end close • Very hands-on approach to financial modeling, reporting, and business metrics, the buck stops with you as it relates to finance. • Preparing and owning the Financial Model - 3-year plan, updating regularly for CEO and board members. • Experience in Adtech or Martech is preferred • Having strong relationships with venture capital firms and bankers in order to raise capital/funding, if needed. • Experience in selling or exiting small and mid-size businesses by finding interested companies or venture capitalists firms and handling the entire process of exit. • Work closely with the CEO and leadership team on strategy, roadmap, and targets for the business, and advise on hiring decisions and market opportunities. • Define and track critical success metrics and KPIs of the business, collaborating with other divisions to address them. • Run regular in-depth analysis of financials to gain key insights and ensure accuracy. • Experience in mergers & acquisitions and financial due diligence for any prospective acquisitions. • Assist the investor relations team with key financial deliverables and ad-hoc requests.

Requirements

• Degree in finance, accounting, or related field with 12 -15 years of experience in accounting.(MBA or CPA preferred). • Experience in the Ad Tech industry preferred. • Knowledge and understanding of US GAAP. • Extensive financial statement modeling experience. • Hands-on experience in SQL and Coding is a plus • Knowledge of US, UK, Canada and Australia laws and compliance requirements • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint. • Spreadsheet skill set to include advanced functions such as graphics/charts and pivot tables. • Working knowledge of accounting transactions in Quickbooks and Xero. • Strong attention to detail. • Experience working in a startup environment and technology company is a plus.
