Description

• Support departmental head in managing investment accounting close and reporting under US GAAP. • Lead and manage accounting close process for company’s Derivatives hedge book. • Lead and manage investment reconciliation between investment sub-ledger, general ledger and accounting warehouse related to Derivatives positions. • Ensure proper accounting and reporting for Derivatives positions. • Maintains relationships with external service providers, custodians and investment managers. • Research, interpret and implement applicable accounting guidance and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance. • 5+ years of strong investment accounting and reporting experience under both US GAAP and Statutory accounting bases. • Strong knowledge of investment products in particular derivatives, commercial mortgage loans, fixed income securities and alternatives. • Derivative accounting experience highly preferred • CPA/CFA track preferred but not required • Oracle cloud experience is plus • Project experience involving investment accounting system implementation • Strong knowledge of investment platform like PAM, Strategy, FINDUR, Aladdin • Strong project management leadership skills. • Ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, while meeting deadlines. • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style. • Strong knowledge of Excel, MS Access, other report writing tools. (SQL is plus) • Proven track record of process enhancement.
