• Overall Position Purpose This position will ensure that the Learning and Assessment Department meet organizational goals by defining, managing, delivering, and overseeing projects/initiatives of volunteers, contractors, and employees of the Assessment Division to meet the training needs of the organization. • The Education and Training Program Manager will promote and support the Inteleos culture of inclusivity. • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs by suggesting enhancements and implementing modifications to improve engagement, learning and retention, to meet the changing needs of the organization; • Ensure that training materials and programs are current, accurate and effective; • Maintain knowledge of new methods, tools, and techniques within the field of instructional design and training applicable to the organization and industry; • Work closely with SME (Subject Matter Experts) and item bank/exam content management system to generate statistical data to inform and report out on training and content development activities; • Implement a wide variety of training methods across varied audiences; • Conduct or facilitate required and recommended training sessions; • Ensure department and division training milestones and goals are met while adhering to approved training budget; • Assist in fostering a team-oriented environment by maintaining close working relationships with department and division staff. • Maintain and follow ANSI processes/procedures as required for organizational accreditation. • Partner with internal and external audiences, cross-divisional stakeholders and subject matter experts; • Other duties, as assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree, Certification or equivalent in Education/Training, Instructional Design or in a related field; • Minimum two years’ experience with training various audiences (both virtually and in-person); • Minimum one year of experience working in an education or assessment-related organization preferred; • Strong background in instructional design and adult learning theory. • Demonstrated skill in writing concise, logical, and grammatically correct communications and training documents; • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to produce effective training for a variety of situations and modes of delivery; • Able to leverage data to create meaningful insight; • Ability to inspire and motivate staff and volunteers; • Ability to maintain positive attitude under stressful conditions; • Demonstrated skill with a variety of instructional design tools (Articulate Storyline/360, other e-learning tools); • Knowledge of Agile Methodologies involving stakeholders and various project management tools, including Asana desired; • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems; • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook); • Leadership skills – ability to lead others by influence and example; • Flexibility – being comfortable with ambiguity and change; • Collaborative attitude – ability to work on a team and contribute to its success; • Organizational skills – ability to work on multiple projects and tasks; • Attention to detail – ability to focus on the important parts of a project; • Interpersonal skills – ability to interact effectively, efficiently, and professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization; • Knowledge of strategies for assessing customer experience.
