Description

• Provide technical expertise to Sales and Operational teams for designing comprehensive systems. • Support sales organization in designing fire alarm and mass notification systems. • Meet and discuss requirements with prospects and internal stakeholders. • Review formal bid specifications and assist with value engineering. • Evaluate products and processes for fire alarm system enhancements. • Document project specifications and compliance requirements in proposed systems. • Provide estimated and detailed parts lists for proposals.

Requirements

• Experience in the design and engineering of Fire Alarm systems. • 5 years of relevant recent experience in Fire design. • Proficient in AutoCAD 2022, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat. • Bachelor’s degree preferred. • NICET II - NICET III in Fire Alarm preferred. • Broad knowledge of fire alarm, fire sprinkler, access control, & archiving, command/control display technologies and general security system principles and practices. • Good knowledge of infrastructure and related technologies such as power, UPS, networking and communications. • Experience in the design and implementation of large scale fire alarm systems in a commercial environment. • Ability to read and understand floor plans, mechanical plans, structural plans, and Life safety plans as well as basic code analysis and design of Fire alarm, Access, and other security systems. • Adept and skilled at interacting directly with prospects and sales reps.
