Description

• InterPayments is a Series A FinTech SaaS company. • Responsible for leading all accounting activities and supporting finance activities. • Oversee all aspects of reporting and operational accounting for the Company. • Maintain the general ledger and the Company’s financial books and records. • Identify, implement, and oversee the execution of necessary financial processes, policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance. • Organize and drive all closing/consolidation processes, including monthly account reconciliations. • Oversees AP and AR functions. • Serve as the primary interface with an external audit firm in the Company’s annual financial audit. • Optimize operational accounting processes by leveraging internal business applications. • Drive full systems implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement to maximize efficiencies across accounting functions. • Supports Human Resources in administration and execution of payroll. • Works with management on budgeting and forecasting. • Creates an environment conducive to a service-oriented culture.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant accounting experience • 3+ years of Controller experience (equivalent experience as Assistant Controller at medium to large enterprise may also be considered) • FP&A experience preferred but not required. • Excellent Excel skills. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Significant experience with QuickBooks. • CPA and public accounting experience preferred but not required
