• Will support a wide range of transactional matters including project financing, tax equity, M&A, bond financing, portfolio finance and other capital markets transactions. • The role will require coordination across multiple functional teams including development, finance, construction, operations, origination and trading. • Team of 4 attorneys and 2 paralegals supporting all financing transactions at the company. • This team is part of a larger legal department servicing needs across the company. • Each team member is typically staffed on more than one transaction at a time. With such a small team, each member has some knowledge across each transaction and the ability to support shifting priorities.
• J.D. from accredited law school and current license to practice in the US. • 5 - 7 years experience focused on mergers and acquisitions or renewable energy project finance. • Deep understanding of project development and financing for renewable energy projects and energy infrastructure in the US. • Strong project management skills and attention to detail, including the ability to organize, plan, coordinate and implement large and cross-functional projects and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Ability to perform under pressure, work independently and follow through on tasks to completion in a timely manner. • Sound judgment to identify red-flag issues and escalate them as required. • Ability to contribute to discussions of general business issues and understand and advise internal stakeholders in a manner consistent with the company’s goals and culture. • Desire to continually learn and grow.
