• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Political Science/Government, Geography, Geology, Hydrology, Economics or other related field • Master’s Degree in a related field, or an MBA, is a plus • Five (5) or more years of work experience in land development, environmental consulting, permitting, renewable energy, real estate, planning, policy, or other related field • Experience prosecuting land use and environmental permits for land development projects across multiple geographies, specifically for wind and solar projects • Deductive reasoning, fundamental quantitative, and strategic thinking skills are mandatory, as is a disciplined approach to identifying risks and opportunities for projects • Experience working with local, state, federal land management agencies, environmental NGOs, or Native American tribes • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product • Excellent organizational and project management skills Independent and self-directed, but unafraid to ask questions where needed • Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and execute in a timely and accurate manner • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and cross-disciplinary environment • Ability to summarize complex issues, identify opportunities or next steps with limited guidance • A strong thirst to learn and grow, and to participate in the nation’s clean energy transition • Familiarity with land/environmental policy/law (particularly NEPA, ESA, MBTA, BGEPA, CWA) is requiredFamiliarity with Google Earth, ArcGIS online • Ability and willingness to travel within the United States approximately twice per quarter, or as required
