Description
• Support production and development of videos for NOAA Ocean Today • Maintain expertise in ocean safety techniques and research • Write scripts and assist in recruitment of on-camera talent • Provide expert advice on geographical and cultural shooting needs and talent direction • Review video cuts and provide expert feedback • Identify and assist in the distribution of final videos to educators and community leaders
Requirements
• Master’s degree in Communications, Fine Arts, or related field • Four (4) years of general experience of which at least two (2) years must be specialized • Highly skilled in written and oral communications • Ability to convey complex ocean science topics to an audience of varied ages and levels of scientific knowledge • Knowledge of ocean safety and science topics • A self-starter, team oriented attitude
