📋 Description
• ISTA Personnel Solutions South Africa is in search of a highly organized and detail-orientated Medical Scheduling Coordinator / Agent to join their team in South Africa, working remotely. • In this role, you will be part of a call centre and responsible for coordinating medical appointments, managing schedules, and ensuring seamless communication between patients, healthcare providers, and home care teams. • The ideal candidate will have experience in medical scheduling. • Working Hours: This role requires you to work US based hours (EST) (16h00pm - 01h00am SAST) Mon - Fri. • Internet (fibre): Candidates must possess a fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps for both upload and download. • Power backup: Candidates must have a power backup solution to manage loadshedding or power outages. • Key Responsibilities: Schedule and manage appointments for patients, ensuring that all necessary resources and personnel are available. • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, families, and healthcare providers. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient appointments, medical needs, and preferences. • Collaborate with home care teams to ensure that patient needs are met. • Address scheduling conflicts or issues as they arise. • Input and update patient information in the scheduling system with precision. • Ensure that all scheduling practices comply with relevant healthcare regulations and privacy laws. • Work Environment: This is a remote role and prior experience in a remote work environment is preferred.
🎯 Requirements
• 2-3 years' experience in scheduling and coordination, preferably within a healthcare or home care services • Exceptional communication skills • Must be able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment • Strong attention to detail and organized • Problem solver • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
